Climbing is an excellent way to gain body strength and like many other puzzle solving activities, is highly addictive! It’s really fun to do on your own or with a friend and once you’ve completed training, you can use the wall at JAGS Sports Club anytime during free climb periods. The Club offers classes that accommodate beginners and intermediate levels so that you can cover the basics of knots, technique and equipment, moving on to more advanced knots and belaying if you are hungry to learn more!

The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is suitable for anyone over the age of 16. Successful completion of this intensive course will provide you with the most widely recognised lifeguarding qualification in the UK & Ireland. The NPLQ is a great addition to any CV or higher education application, and from May 2024, NPLQ Gen 10 carries 8 UCAS Tariff points. Applicants must be competent swimmers and fluent in English.
